Official
representatives of LEGO, together with the largest store of the
Hungarian capital and fans of the legendary construction toy, set a new
record by building the highest LEGO tower.
The record was set at the end of last month and was officially
registered in the Guinness Book. The tower’s height was 34.76 meters,
and it was built in front of the St. Stephen’s Basilica in Budapest. In
the tower was also integrated a Rubik’s cube, which in Hungary is
considered almost a national symbol. The construction of the tower took
more than 45,000 parts.
