British artist from Cambridge Lia Melia
was born and raised in a small town on the coast. After moving to
Cambridge, she continues to paint her memories from childhood and
adolescence.
The uniqueness of her paintings is in the fact that she uses as a
canvas sheets of glass and aluminum. To create the painting Lia Melia
uses powdered pigments. The author says that she likes to paint sea
waves because through them she can convey any feelings and emotions that
she experiences at the moment.
